house of papaya
papaya is an alter ego i created to explore sexuality and performance art through dance music. the first record: 'house of papaya', is a concept record that imagines the teenage mutant ninja turtles as women. it was performed at the famous casita del campo theatre in los angeles in summer of 2018 and again at superchief gallery in winter 2018.
eastern europe
eastern europe was done while i was on the road with depeche mode in winter 2018. the concept was to do a song in each city we played while at the hotel or waiting for sound check. i sampled the voice of someone from each city in their native toungue and used them as samples in each song. this record was performed at warehouse parties in downtown los angeles in the winter and spring of 2019
